AMLO rechaza propuesta de Gertz Manero
El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador rechazó la propuesta del fiscal general Alejandro Gertz Manero sobre eliminar el delito de feminicidio por la dificultad que para el Ministerio Público tiene acreditar ese delito. Durante su conferencia matutina, López Obrador expresó que esto “no se mueve” ya que “si se lleva a cabo esta reforma, aun siendo buena, se puede malinterpretar”, al igual que la petición de la Secretaría de Gobernación (Segob) al Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) sobre entregar datos biométricos.
“En el caso de quitar causales para feminicidios, dijimos no, no se mueve porque si tenemos esta situación especial en la universidad (UNAM) y si se lleva a cabo esta reforma, aun siendo buena, se puede malinterpretar, entonces que las cosas queden como están, o sea, lo mismo en la cédula de identidad”, dijo. Durante una reunión privada con diputados federales de Morena, Gertz Manero se pronunció por expedir un código penal único para todo el país y, en ese contexto, llamó a suprimir la figura del feminicidio.
Tres legisladoras presentes en el encuentro. Dijeron que el fiscal argumentó que el Ministerio Público enfrenta serias dificultades técnicas para acreditar la comisión del delito de feminicidio por las características que definen ese tipo penal y sostuvo que por ello sería más conveniente, en términos de procuración de justicia, mantener en la legislación penal el delito de homicidio y enlistar una agravante con los elementos correspondientes al feminicidio.
