El la realidad el actor tenía una bomba peniana, que al decir de muchas mujeres lo convertía en un macho biónico, tres veces la bomba fue remplazada, motivo “abuso de uso”, Andrés tuvo que pasar por el quirófano para cambiar la famosa bomba para el pene. En los últimos meses su salud se había complicado y su esposa Margarita Portillo ya había pedido oraciones a sus seguidores, por su delicado estado.
